Sponge Break is a chaotic co-op game where you and up to three players are trying to escape the tyranny of the kitchen sink. Armed with nothing more than a trusty plunger-hook and a bit of wishful thinking, your goal is simple: navigate a fragile raft down the world’s most dangerous rapids.

🧽 How to get in to the playtest

The playtest is invite-only, and invites will go out in waves between now and July 28.

Think you have what it takes to survive the Sponge Break? Here's how to join.

• Step 1 - SIGN UP: Head to SPONGEBREAK,COM and complete a short sign-up process

• Step 2 - WAIT: Keep an eye on your email for an invite with further updates and instructions

• Step 3 - PLAY: Once invited, redeem your key on Steam and download Sponge Break. You're in!

We're sending out keys in batches, so you may not receive an invite right away.

🧽 Complete quests, earn rewards

We’re rewarding our brave sponges for joining the journey! Players who participate in the Sponge Break playtest can earn exclusive perks, including extra invites to share with friends and a "Crash Test Buoy" cosmetic item to keep your sponge stylish even when things go sideways on the river.

Once you've signed up for the playtest and been accepted, head over to your Sponge Break dashboard on FirstLook for all the details on how to claim your rewards and gear up for the descent.
